The Cusco Power Steering Rack Brace Subaru is a direct replacement of the stock OEM unit specifically designed for the vehicle by Cusco. The Cusco brace is much stronger compared to the OEM unit and will improve the steering response of the vehicle, moreover will also prevent unwanted steering backlash to the steering rack.

Solid product!!!!!

This product is solid, more then double the thickness of the oem bracket. Not a hard install, but I did remove the front sway bar (I'm replacing it) which made installation a but easier.

Easy install

Was a simple install and can definitely feel a difference. Was almost 3x thick vs the stock one.

Cusco Steering Rack Power Brace

The notorious lazy steering in most subarus can get a bit annoying, after this super easy install I noticed a huge difference in how the center of the steering felt. Even daily driving when I want to change lanes the car reacts much more directly. A must have for anyone who wants a super easy cheap upgrade to your steering rack.

NOTE: On the 2008-2014 WRX/STI You don't need to find a specific way to get the bracing through, it just slides straight through.
