The PERRIN Super Shifter Stop is perfectly designed to bolt directly to the shifter. Being constructed from 6061-T6 Aluminum allows for countless downshifts from 3rd to 2nd gear without the worry of damaging the shifter stop or shifter.

Horizontal Slop
The PERRIN Super Shifter Stop removes the unacceptable amount of horizontal slop within the 1st- and 2nd- gear shift gates. The nearly 1” of play in the transmission from the factory is reduced to only 0.12” of horizontal movement with the PERRIN super shifter stop which forms a more tactile connection between the driver and transmission.

Vertical Slop
Just like the horizontal slop, there is an unacceptable amount of vertical slop within the 1st- and 2nd- gear shift gates. The PERRIN Super Shifter Stop will reduce this movement from 0.70" to 0.20". This reduction in movement makes for a solid connection between the driver and transmission.

Bonus Feature
Included with each PERRIN Super Shifter Stop is hardware that removes an existing gap in the shifter assembly, further reducing lateral shifter assembly movement.

Prevent Damage
The PERRIN Super Shifter Stop reduces the strain put on internal transmission components by stopping over shifts. An over shift is when the shifter is accidentally moved past the gear during fast or hard gear changes causing additional stress and wear & tear on internal transmission components. The PERRIN Super Shifter Stop will not allow this over-shifting to occur.

Note: Please be sure to select the correct model based on vehicle year and existing components. Models with both the STI Short throw and Perrin Short Shifter installed cannot use the super shifter and must the Standard Shift Stop by Perrin

Can i use this with the boombox short throw shifter installed? 

We cannot confirm fitment with the Boomba Shifter.

Can this work for a 2019 subaru wrx sti? 

Unfortunately, it will not.

I have a 2023 wrx with the oem short throat shifter what selection should i pick when ordering? 

You will choose the STI Shifter.

Can i use this with boomba short throw shifter and if so which option should i choose?
