When you have made enough power to surpass the limits of the factory clutch, then it is the right time to upgrade to the Competition Clutch Stage 3 2600 Segmented Sprung Clutch Kit. This is a push-type clutch kit that will hold up to 350lbs of torque and includes all the essential components for a successful clutch job. This kit includes a performance pressure plate, a high torque sprung disc with segmented ceramic facings, and an all applicable bearing with an alignment tool. Once installed, it is recommended that you put at least 300 break-in miles before you go full ham.
This kit can be run on a 2018-2021 WRX only if paired with an early model flywheel.
I needed a replacement clutch for my modified wrx making around 326whp. I wanted somthing that wasn't going to hurt daily drivability, but still handle power. This clutch does just that, doesn't slip, shifts firm. But it also, doesn't chatter or make driving more challenging in stop and go traffic.

I have a stock 12 WRX and my clutch started slipping around 97k. I just replaced it using this kit and a OEM flywheel. With this being a stage 3 I was expecting a heavier pedal feel, but it's WAY lighter than the factory clutch.
