Constructed of black 5-ply silicone, the COBB Turbo Inlet is a direct replacement for your 2008-2014 WRX, 2005-2009 Legacy GT, or 2005-2009 Outback XT! The custom silicone construction of the COBB Turbo Inlet rejects high engine bay temperatures and keeps the intake air closer to ambient temperature. The steel wire reinforced design eliminates the issue of hose collapse that other inlet hoses suffer under vacuum at peak demand, yet allows adequate flex between the engine and the intake. Utilizing the COBB Turbo Inlet will eliminate the factory 'accordion-style' hose that can cause turbulence in the intake tract. Increasing the efficiency of the inlet will reduce stress on the engine as it is able to breathe much easier with a higher-flowing intake path.

Pain in the butt to install, but that’s on me and Subaru. A very tight fit. Works great with no issues and much better quality than OEM.

The COBB Silicone Turbo Inlet V2 for the 2008-2014 WRX and 2005-2009 Legacy GT/Outback XT can be a bit tricky to install due to its tight fit, but it significantly improves quality compared to the OEM part. Once in, it should perform well with no issues. Definitely worth the effort for the benefits it brings! Thank you for your 5 Star Review!

If you're looking to upgrade from the flimsy OEM intake and still want to be c.a.r.b compliant, This is the Turbo Inlet for you. It can be a little bit of a pain to install without removing the intake manifold.

Huge difference just at idle and smoother pick up n let down. Stock subaru part was cheap plastic, this is most deff worth the extra 100 bucks
