COBB Stage 1 Drivetrain Package 2015-2024 WRX

The simple of it: gives the shifter an amazing feeling and shortens the throw a TON! Feels great now.

The harder parts of it the shifter plate was really the most difficult part of this entire set. I would recommend getting a punch set to get the roll pin out, I personally for the 8in long irwin set from lowes, the 3mm punch will get the smaller one out and the 5mm will get the larger one out. actually getting it installed on a car with higher mileage, the possible corrosion/rust on the shifter plate makes it incredibly difficult to take it off, just keep trying and prying and it'll come off soon enough. After you get it off, get some sanding cloth or sand paper to clean the spindle and the new one slides on and off like butter. The other pieces are very simple and straight forward to install and don't take any special tools, just a 10mm and extension mostly.

Besides the hour and a half of trying to pry the shifter plate off, everything together took about 4 hours. Again, most of it was shifter plate related and after I got the original one off it was easy to do everything else.

This kit, paired with the STI short shifter in my case, feels fantastic. I got a lot of the drivetrain upgrades for this car, and I couldn't be happier with the results.
