The COBB Shifter Stop for 2015+ WRX MT is an injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced nylon that allows for adjustment to achieve more precise shifting. With installation and adjustment taking mere minutes, the results are instant.

Reduce side-to-side slop of your shifter while in the 1-2 and 5-6 shifter gates. There is nearly a full inch of horizontal play to the shifter mechanism while in gear in the two outer gates (1-2 and 5-6) from the factory. This can lead to loss of feeling and confidence in gear selection. The COBB Shifter Stop allows for independent adjustment of the two gates to significantly reduce side to side slop.

Makes the 1st-2nd shift feel so much better, while installing you’re able to adjust 5th-6th as well. No metal on metal contact like some of the other shift stops out there.

Great QOL upgrade

This an awesome QOL upgrade. Gets rids of almost all the play in 1st and 2nd gear. Makes shifts feel much more linear and crisp.

Beat it sloppy shifter

I’m amazed how a small piece of plastic engineering can totally change something. Why in the world Subaru didn’t do this from the factory is beyond me. Totally changes the feel.

The easiest, fastest way to improve the feeling for shifting

This took less than 20 minutes to install, test, and retighten. It got rid of all the slop in the shifter, and made the car far more pleasurable to drive. Very easy process, and my shifts are more precise and snappy. I honestly don't see the point in some of the other shifting mods I was thinking of getting; reducing the slop really does a lot. If you have a full cart of shifting parts, buy this and install it first before going and buying the other components.
