The COBB Shifter Stop for 2015+ WRX MT is an injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced nylon that allows for adjustment to achieve more precise shifting. With installation and adjustment taking mere minutes, the results are instant.

Reduce side-to-side slop of your shifter while in the 1-2 and 5-6 shifter gates. There is nearly a full inch of horizontal play to the shifter mechanism while in gear in the two outer gates (1-2 and 5-6) from the factory. This can lead to loss of feeling and confidence in gear selection. The COBB Shifter Stop allows for independent adjustment of the two gates to significantly reduce side to side slop.

Must have

Easy install. Great instructions from Cobb. Paired with the STI short shifter from the factory my shifter feel has immensely improved. I was skeptical. But this model over the other full metal stoppers is worth.

Greatly improved shifts

Super easy install and well worth $30. Took less than 30 minutes to install and greatly improved the first to second shift. Way less wiggle in both gears, this is how it should have come stock.

Cleaned up shifting

Switched from an aluminum shift stop to Cobb because the aluminum one left shavings from rubbing against the lever. Now i don't have to worry about the stop leaving a mess in the shifter

Really like it

Bought mine a few days ago. It was really easy to install/adjust and the difference is night and day. Before I installed it there was a lot of play in 1st and 2nd gear, but now its all tightened up and makes shifting feel a LOT cleaner. 100% recommend.
