The COBB Shifter Stop for 2015+ WRX MT is an injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced nylon that allows for adjustment to achieve more precise shifting. With installation and adjustment taking mere minutes, the results are instant.

Reduce side-to-side slop of your shifter while in the 1-2 and 5-6 shifter gates. There is nearly a full inch of horizontal play to the shifter mechanism while in gear in the two outer gates (1-2 and 5-6) from the factory. This can lead to loss of feeling and confidence in gear selection. The COBB Shifter Stop allows for independent adjustment of the two gates to significantly reduce side to side slop.

The easiest, fastest way to improve the feeling for shifting

This took less than 20 minutes to install, test, and retighten. It got rid of all the slop in the shifter, and made the car far more pleasurable to drive. Very easy process, and my shifts are more precise and snappy. I honestly don't see the point in some of the other shifting mods I was thinking of getting; reducing the slop really does a lot. If you have a full cart of shifting parts, buy this and install it first before going and buying the other components.

Why didn't the cars come factory with these? Fits right in place matches up just like the 5th and 6th stopper. 100% difference car feels so much cleaner and more fun to drive now!

Must have

So I didn’t have much shifter slop to begin with since I have the Sti short shifter. After installing this what little slop I had is completely gone. Very nice material as well. Easy install.

Best shift stop for WRX

My opinion, Cobb is the best shift stop for WRX, the polymer material won't rub up against the plastic bits on your shifter. It also has the same shape as the OE 5-6 shift stop on the other side.
