The COBB Shifter Bushing for your 2015+ Subaru WRX consists of an aluminum carrier that houses an IGUS polymer bearing. The aluminum carrier eliminates slop present when using the factory rubber isolator. Use of an IGUS polymer allows for low wear and friction which leads to a long life.

Remove the slop and increase confidence in your shifts with the COBB Shifter Bushing for your 2015+ Subaru WRX. The factory bushing consists of a softer rubber which allows for fore/aft slop of the shifter mechanism. An IGUS Polymer bearing and aluminum carrier which work in conjunction to eliminate slop in the factory shifter.

More confidence in shifting

Gives a nice, more firm feel when getting into gear so you know you're in. The final piece I needed to go full Cobb shift kit

Worthwhile Upgrade

Pretty simple install. I just jacked up the front passenger side. Only annoying part was getting the bolts installed on bushing. I ended up using 2 washers on the bushing. The single washer was loose, but with 2 it is snug. I can notice thr shifts feel little crisper.

Great upgrade

Nothing super exciting but you will never have to worry about a bushing going soft. My stock bushing was still in great shape which is why I believe the difference wasn’t as noticeable. It is still worth the effort and expense.
