COBB Intake Tube + High Flow Filter Package 2022-2023 WRX

I'm not interested in tuning this car, so I wanted to keep the stock airbox with a high flow filter. The aluminum intake tube is a nice replacement for the corrugated plastic tube. One of the ends came out of the box egg shaped and dented a little, but I was able to fix it fairly quickly. The most important thing to do when doing any airbox mod that doesn't require tunes is to disconnect the battery. Thank me later. I also went with the turbosmart full recirc bpv. There's a noticeable difference in throttle response with a slight power increase. I'm definitely happy with my purchase. I probably won't do any other performance mods except for an axle back down the road.

Pretty easy installation. Not much difference without a tune, but I did notice a slight increase in intake noise heard through the cabin. This is more of a supporting modification for additional mods planned for the future.

Haven’t really noticed a difference in fuel milage or the little HP I might have or have not gotten. Overall install wasn’t to bad I didn’t take the bottom panel off nor the fender partly off as it says in the install instruction's. I completely removed the air box and took apart the old intake tube in sections was easy to remove as long as you have deep sockets and at least four extensions or one really long extension for the install of the clamps and some of the removal. Install was a little difficult doing it this way but still worked the same could have been faster then the original install instructions. If I figured out some of the angles little quicker was trial and error doing it this way but after doing it once and figuring it out I’m sure it would be faster to just take the air box out instead of the original instructions taking off the fender partially and the bottom skid plate.
