The COBB catback exhaust for the WRX does not deviate from the factory emissions equipment and conforms to the SAE dictated 95-decibel exhaust noise level limit enforced by California, as well as other states in the US. This system is modeled after the stock factory exhaust fitment locations, therefore making it an easy direct bolt on item inclusive of all needed gaskets and hardware.

The COBB Tuning catback exhaust is heralded often for its quality, performance, and subtlety. Love Cobb

Expected nothing less than perfection from Cobb. Easy install, was harder getting my lowered car off the ground than it was putting this exhaust on. Welds were perfect. Not a very loud exhaust on its own, but I’m sure after more bolt ons and a tune it will really wake it up. Car was instantly more responsive. Love hearing the Subie rumble.

Best exhaust for vb

The quality of this exhaust is amaaaaazing. Cold start is loud. You will get that on any aftermarket exhaustion. No issues, light drone at 2k and not too obnoxious. Love it. I got with titanium tips and looks great.

Good exhaust option for the VB

I'm actually kind of surprised with seeing other reviewers saying the exhaust is loud. I'm actually personally trying to figure out how to make it louder lol. Don't get me wrong, the cold start is loud but, it's a cold start. I honestly wish it would sound that powerful all the time but, that's another discussion.

The quality of the exhaust is superb. Welds are nice, material is nice, and the over all construction is very well made.

Fitment was spot on, nothing was hard to do with the install. It honestly took me longer jacking the car up then swapping it out.

Louder than I thought!

I reviews carefully how loud this might be. I compared AWE and Cobb and opted for the Cobb. Fit and finish are superb, cold start is quite loud. Inside cabin noise on highway at 80mph is too much. I plan on adding a resonator, Cobb should make that an option!
