DETAILS

Replacing the factory intake and airbox with the COBB SF Intake will reduce pre-turbo restrictions. When a restriction is removed, it allows the engine to be more efficient while also enabling it to make more power!

The air box is constructed of black powder coated aluminum. A slot in the front of the air box accepts air directed through the factory air scoop. Air is filtered through a larger pre-oiled filter and routed to the velocity stack MAF housing. The wire-reinforced black silicone couplers are sealed on either end with clamps for a leak-free install.

This intake system utilizes several unique features in an effort to maintain optimal flow for performance while minimizing turbulence. A custom conical air-filter element, CFD-designed velocity stack and unique air flow straightener grid are designed to smooth the incoming air flow as it passes the Mass Air Flow sensor for precise readings. The one piece high temperature plastic composite design saves weight and reduces heat transfer.

The SF Intake System is compatible with COBB Off The Shelf Maps. Look for maps denoted with "+SF" in your Accessport firmware or on the Maps section of the Cobb website. For a complete list of maps for your car, head over to the Maps Section of the Cobb website.

good intake, great delivery time

very happy with how quickly the box arrived. parts look great and were moderately easy for the install...i cant understand why cobb wont just precut and install the rubbers but whatever. HUGE HUGE missing step in the PDF, **Be sure to install MAF sensor after step 2 before step 3*** you will not have the room to slide it once the airbox is fully assembled, and if you follow the PDF fully, you will get every single step completed before realizing you get to completely undo each and every step back to step 2. glad it all worked out but definitely a huge piece of info to not miss. Installed because the Big SF failed under my newest tune, the turbo tried to suck the airfilter through the intake lol but this new intake is a solid quality and immediately fixed the AFL1 issues. 10/10

Looks + sounds fantastic

Been waiting for a minute for this, and man it was worth it. Take your time with install. Make sure the fittings and box are well in place! The tune will thank you for it. Assembly is straightforward, however the rubber/wire trim pieces were a bit tricky to mess with.

Overall a very very fun install, and very rewarding. And boy does it look pretty in the engine bay.
