The COBB Intake Tube for your 2022+ Subaru WRX maximizes airflow potential while retaining the factory airbox. Since Subaru has chosen to integrate a hydrocarbon trap, more on that HERE, into the factory airbox it must remain as it is a federally mandated emissions component. This intake tube is designed to fit between the factory airbox and turbocharger inlet.

The 3" mandrel bent aluminum construction means that airflow is unrestricted as it is summoned from the airbox to turbocharger inlet. A wrinkle black powder coated finish both protects the tubing and provides a classy aesthetic. Black 5-ply silicone couplers are held in place with included clamps for a leak free installation.

Maximize airflow potential of your 2022+ WRX with the COBB Intake Tube. Replacing the factory intake tube removes corrugated sections that can cause turbulence in airflow leading into the turbocharger. Factory materials are also prone to cracking over time as they are continuously heat cycled.

    Another good bang for buck!

    This is the best you can do to stay oem+ just a little upgrade to the intake piping compared to stock.

    Cobb intake tube 2022 Wrx

    Install of the intake tube was pretty easy. Alignment of silicone couplers took some adjustments to get aligned to stock air box. Fitment is perfect with 0 rubbing. I'm running the Grimmspeed dry-con drop in filter with the Cobb tube. The intake tube added a slight bit beefier tone to the car. 0 bpv noises for those who wondered. Increase in throttle response and smoother due to smoother air flow of the tube over corrugated oem . Not sure of exact performance benefits compared to an aftermarket intake but drop in filter with intake tube is cheaper and quieter for those trying to keep sleeper build.

    Can tell a difference. Throttle more responsive. It can be installed from top only but is difficult to do that way.

    Really like it

    Good fit and finish. Sound is the same as other intakes but the volume is MUCH quieter. Improved throttle response, and a bit more kick in the pants above 4000 rpm's. Solid buy.

    Quality product, but design could be improved.

    Tube looks and works great. Took a star off for a few reasons.
    1. Cobb could have notched the silicone couplers to fit the airbox/turbo like factory.
    2. The lack of mounting bracket in the middle of the hard pipe makes it harder to get things aligned. I had a slight inner fender rub on initial install. Easy to fix by going back in and adjusting. However a locating bracket, similar to stock, prevents this issue altogether.
