This COBB Charge Pipe fits a wide range of turbocharged FA24 powered Subarus including the 2022+ WRX, 2019+ Ascent, and 2020+ Outback XT/Wilderness. It is constructed of 6061 aluminum tubing that transitions from 2.5" at the lower portion to 2.75" at the intercooler connection. An integrated billet transition smoothly takes diameter from 2.5" to 2.75" to allow for increased flow while maintaining clearance for larger aftermarket radiators. A wrinkle black powder coat finish gives an upgraded yet subtle appearance under the hood. The integrated billet turbo adapter utilizes a machined and anodized clip with ball detent to secure the charge pipe to the turbocharger housing and 5-ply silicone coupler at the opposite end makes for a straight forward and leak free installation.

Replace the factory charge pipe on your turbocharged FA24 powered Subaru with the COBB Charge Pipe to both increase airflow and prevent failures over time while retaining a sleek and subtle under-hood vibe. Factory plastic components can be restrictive in flow as we turn up the power on turbocharged vehicles. The material is also failure prone as it degrades over time with heat cycles.

Tuning is NOT required to safely install this part, but utilizing it in conjunction with the rest of our Stage 2 Power Package and OTS Calibration for the 2022+ WRX will maximize it's potential.

    perfect fit no issues but I like about it is that you don’t have to deal with clams on the lower area where attaches to the turbo

    Easy to install part that cleans up the look of the bay!

    The cobb charge pipe really cleans up the look of the engine bay, removing the ugly plastic charge pipe. The red lock tab at the bottom did give a little bit of difficulty going on but a few light taps with an extension and it seated nicely.

    Take Charge!

    Item came well packed. Very easy to install. A very clean look opposed to the stock charge pipe. Possibly a little more throttle response. My next upgrade will be the cat-back exhaust system from Nameless. All is good!

    First one did not fit; Cobb sending replacement.

    Charge pipe design looks great. However, the first one I was sent did not fit. The bolt bracket was misaligned and there is no way to get the charge pipe to install properly. Cobb was quick to reply and is supposed to be shipping a replacement. I expect replacement will fit given the number of other reviewers without issues. Will update review if replacement has issues or does not arrive.

    Edit: Score updated from 3 stars to 5. Cobb shipped a replacement pipe the day after I reported issues. They also seem to know what the cause of the issue was (misaligned weld on the lower part of the pipe), so it sounds like they are taking care of the issue. They sent a T shirt as an apology for the trouble. New part fit perfectly.
