COBB Tuning Adjustable Short Throw Shifter

Our revolutionary Double Adjustable Shifter ushers in a new generation of adjustability for one of the most critical links from driver to car with the ability to control both the height of the shifter as well as the throw.

Designed using CAD technology, the COBB Blue anodized billet shifter body is CNC machined from 6061 Aluminum. Like our original design, the shift throw distance and shift knob height are independently adjustable and both can easily be adjusted with the shifter installed in the vehicle.

Steel socket head screws are set in a counter bore for a flush mount and provide a clamping force that firmly holds the upper and lower slider shafts in place. This new design improves the ease of making adjustments while also being significantly stronger.

Compatible with the factory shift knob or any aftermarket knobs designed to replace the factory unit.

Note: This will fit 5 speed models only!

Another great product from Cobb!

I've installed these on customers cars before and finally got around to putting one in my 2010 WRX Hatch! So much better than the OE shifter and better than any of the other branded ones I've installed. If you want to get the best results, you will want to do the step of removing the metal plate and trimming it per the instructions. This allows you to shorten the throw more and not have issues with the shifter linkage pinching the boot against that plate.

Love it

I personally loved this item. I was debating between this and the kartboy short shifter but was drawn to the adjustability of the Cobb one. Can’t say I’m disappointed. This shifter has been great. Nice and smooth and tightened up the throw immensely

shifts much better

make sure u loosen the lower allen head if you cant clear the lower gears

doesnt fit 6mt crosstrek

i thought it might help with the sloppy shifting in my 2019 crosstrek, but it doesnt have a reverse switch like the oem shifter does
