The Accessport is a simple ECU flashing with gauge package! The new in-cabin mountable Accessport V3 has a large, full color, higher resolution screen which allows you to monitor up to six parameters in real time. Fully customizable from the look (multiple bezel colors), layout (set up race, street, or dyno gauge clusters), and mounting options (choose from 1,000s of standard vehicle mounts). And what's looks without brains? More processing power, memory, and storage to flash faster while saving all of your maps and logs. This is your new Accessport.

The Accessport is the world's best-selling, most flexible, and easiest-to-use ECU upgrade solution for your Subaru Ascent. Unlock power hidden within the vehicle by replacing conservative factory settings with more aggressive calibrations. Follow our staged upgrade path with pre-loaded Off The Shelf (OTS) maps or use custom mapping for any modification level. It's the last engine management solution you'll ever need.

Important Information:

  • Installation of this Accessport over anything other than OEM or COBB software may result in ECU/TCU failure. Please contact COBB Support if you have any questions.
  • This Accessport is compatible with manual transmission USDM vehicles only. CVT is now supported as of 11/9/23
  • This part is legal for sale and use on Emissions Controlled Vehicles in all 50 states when used in accordance with the manufacturer's application guide because it has a California Air Resources Board (CARB) Executive Order (EO) number: D-660-125

Excellent Tuner; Solid power available on the VB WRX

Cobb AP is an excellent tuning device. Several good reviews here so just going to add some notes below for anyone researching.

1. Cobb OTS tunes do not always run 1.0 DAM (by design)
2. Cobb OTS tunes are intended for the parts list on the tune, if you are not using those parts, do not use the OTS tune
3. Cobb recommends a battery charger when flashing the tune. I use a NoCo Genius Pro 50 in 12V power supply mode. Probably overkill, but I worry significantly less about power issues when flashing now.
4. The latest tuners do not have auto power off feature (as of March 2024). Make sure you power off your AP or disconnect it when you park the car. Cobb says they are working to add auto power off back to the AP, but it is not yet available.

Tune it

I drove 12.5k miles with the stock tune and the cobb stage 1 93 octane is definitely a wake up to the car. Ive heard bad things about off the shelf tunes but its an improvement and need a cobb AP to pro tune regardless.

Before the cobb AP my car only have a perrin charge pipe, and the max boost was 11.7 psi. The cobb tune i mentioned increased this to 15.5 psi and i did not push the car hard for that.
