DETAILS

The JB4 is the most advanced and highly featured tuning system available for your 2022+ Subaru WRX 2.4L 4 cylinder turbo. Power gains are up to 50hp to the wheels (70hp crank) on a completely stock car on pump gas, gains with ethanol mixtures and bolt-on parts are even higher.

The JB4 features a simple plug & play installation harness for easy installation & removal and includes many features not found with any other tune. Including on the fly map switching from your phone/tablet instead between factory and various performance maps, boost limiting by gear for improved traction in lower gears, progressive water/methanol support, built-in data logging, built-in code reading, and much more. 
 
Wirelessly connect the JB4 to your Bluetooth 4.0 compatible iOS and Android device via the JB4 Mobile connect kit found here, or to your Windows laptop with the BMS data cable found here. Both options allow you to record and analyze vehicle and tuning data, change JB4 performance maps, and update JB4 firmware as we release free newer versions with updates, more powerful maps, and new features under development. A separate JB4 Mobile app purchase is also required.

A MUST HAVE

If you want to open up the taps a bit more without having to tune, this is the way to go. Granted, you can get some custom "tuning" from JB support. But, if you plan to sell your vehicle at the highest possible value (them seeing a tune), then go with this.
If you want the most power, go for AP.

Great addition for performance upgrade

Was fairly simple to install and was a noticeable improvement to my cars performance. Maybe when the factory warranty runs out I'll look at other options but for now my car is a blast to drive.

Very much needed if you aren't AP tuning

You MUST tune your car for bolt-ons! I know people have been testing what the VB can handle without a tune, but if you aren't using an AP for protunes or etunes, you should get yourself a JB4 so you can monitor and adjust to prevent engine issues. Plus, it opens up the car more. Can't complain about that. I'm running Map 1 so I don't get all the fun 93 octane power. But you can still feel a difference nonetheless.
Install was really straightforward. Already had the skid plate and cover off the bottom since I was doing an intake install, so getting in the bottom plug was easy. Snaking the OBDII wire up the firewall was easier than I thought it'd be. I initially thought I had to snake a string down to tie the end of the OBDII cable, but you don't. Just keep feeding it through the bottom and you'll get there in less than a minute.
Plus, my 10 year warranty stay intact with this bad boy vs AP.
