Not sure what other people are talking about when they say it rattles. Install correctly and you’ll likely have zero issues.
I purchased this with the install kit and would recommend it just for the fresh linkage bushings and pivot cup. Just make sure you grease the cup and ball up a bit.
Overall, there’s more NVH in the cabin as a result, but in a good way. The gearbox feels more precise and direct, and also seems to enjoy centering itself back at the 3-4 gate much easier.

Heads up, though: the snap ring on the lockout is a smaller size than the others in the car during the install process. Had to get another set of snap ring pliers from harbor freight. But hey, it was only $5.
