Introducing the new 2022-2023 BRZ / 2022-2023 GR86 Billetworkz Short Throw Shifter! Reducing throw by 30%!

The included Reverse Lockout is CNC machined from 6061 and anodized for a vibrant and durable finish. The Shifter Rod is machined from 304 SS. SS Hardware is included. We also include o-rings in the reverse lockout assembly to eliminate rattle (o-rings will need to be lubricated, we recommend 3-in-1 oil.

Install Kit included (bushings and metal plate).

Very good and easy to install

Makes the shifter feel amazing! Shortens the throw significantly. They include a washer clip thing, so don't worry about bending the OEM one that came on the car.

Billetworkz short throw shifter kit rocks!

I decided on the Billetworkz Short Throw Shifter kit since you could get the reverse lockout rings in different colours. I chose the blue ring, since it matched my Sapphire Blue 2024 BRZ tS. Having watched the installation videos, I decided against installing it myself and got my Subaru tech to do the install. So it was beautifully installed. Initially after he took it for a test drive he said that he could here a slight rattle…but having driven it daily since then and tracked it a few times, I have never heard any rattle; even in stop-go rush hour traffic. It is actually about 2” shorter than the stock shifter, but the throws are satisfyingly solid! Highly recommended.

One issue that i had with my 23 BRZ was that the shifter was felt a bit gravelly when shifting and sometimes i had a hard time going into 1st and 2nd. After installing this it made a HUGE difference… Damn near felt like i had a gated shifter. This shifter along with the perrin shifter rear bushing and trans mount are MUST HAVE upgrades.

Great feeling!

Installation went very smooth and no need to transfer any parts over from the oem shifter just add a little lube and you are good to go! Overall shifting feels firm and quick also removed a lot of wobble in the shifter too so it feels nice and tight!
