The Touring Edition Catback is for drivers who like their BOXER rumble to be deep, hearty, and full of crackles all without any interior drone at cruising speeds. A direct bolt-on, full 3” straight-through design with a resonated mid section and tailored mufflers in the rear, the Touring Edition acts as the sophisticated, drone-free member of the STI exhaust suite. If you’re looking to liven up your commute while retaining civil in-cabin characteristics, this version is for you.

Thanks to the design and construction of 180 Technology® resonators, the internals will not break down and degrade over time causing tone change. Full-bodied rumble for life from the point of installation.

This configuration provides the best ratio of interior refinement and exterior rumble on the market.

This exhaust is exactly what I was hoping it would be. Hard to describe, but its the perfect amount of rumble, with no drone or annoying sounds. Cold start is a little noisy, but not necessarily enough to wake the neighbors.
Installation was relatively strait forward. Directions in the box were very clear and informative.
I had some concern about condensation leaking from the slip joints, but i contacted AWE's support and they were incredibly knowledgeable and said it was normal until it heat cycles a few times.
The other concern was a...Whistling sound? Squeak sound? I'm not sure how to describe it, but under load (i.e.: full throttle and boost) I would hear an indistinct hissing or whistle sound in higher RPM's. We have narrowed it down to my turbo just...doing its thing. Apparently the exhaust freeing up some flow allows it to make noise. Ever since that discovery was made, I can tell its my exhaust impeller spinning up and its quite a pleasing sound.
Long rant short, definitely suggest this for the STI if you daily it. Beautiful craftsmanship and a "sophisticated" sound.

Great fittment. Easy installation. Only issue is the tips. Broke one of the bolts trying to tighten up the collars on the tips. Even with some adjustments and SS screws there is a little play. But the droning sounds is gone and after the break in period exhaust sounds great.
