DETAILS

This Performance Air Intake System allows your engine to breathe more air compared to the restrictive factory air intake housing. It is designed, tuned and dyno-tested to produce more horsepower and torque. Air enters the system through an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter for outstanding air flow, filtration and performance. The air intake tube is constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum featuring a durable gunmetal gray powder coated finish. A custom shaped heat shield with lid is included. The tapered cylinder shaped AEM Dryflow air filter is made from an oil-free, synthetic filter media that can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed (depending on driving conditions).
This Air Intake System is backed by AEM's Lifetime Limited Warranty. Some AEM air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards, while others are 50 state legal. Perfect Fit

Extremely easy to install. Removing the induction tube from the turbo was a bit difficult on the ground, but that is Subaru's fault. Great sound, great Air Flow, Shield does its purpose, did not change Gas mileage much, but I am not running a tune, and Subaru holds back CVT equipped vehicles with Sluggishness. but I am happy with the product.

Intake is awesome, researched it a lot this had higher performance gains than the ETS one. I installed it the same day as my Cobb Accessport OTS Map + TurboSmart BOV and now it sounds like it wants to Tokyo Drift with the Teriyaki Boys. Easy installation, I did it on a Rhino Ramp. 10mm + 12mm ratchets you're good to go.

Not up to aem past standards

I have had AEM products in the past this is not it.The quality seemed cheap for the price the pipe had small dents at the end.It also due to design pulled water into the intake when it rained box should have protection from all sides similar to other well known products.It also threw 3 codes after install and I'm already running a stage 2 time so that wouldn't be the issue.Ended up removing it and going with another brand and everything is great now.To charge over 400 dollars it seems more like an intake you would find at AutoZone.And yes I installed it exactly as directions stated very disappointing.
