Common questions
We get it, when you’re waiting on parts for your build, every day feels longer than it should. In-stock orders usually need 1–2 business days to move through our processing queue. Orders placed after 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time begin processing on the next business day, and carrier transit time starts only after the package leaves our hands.
Expedited shipping speeds up the carrier portion of the trip, not the time needed to prepare your order. We still process orders in the order they are received so every package is checked and packed correctly. Build in time for both processing and transit when you are working toward a deadline.
We share the best timing information available when you order, but parts inventory can change quickly. Simultaneous purchases, manufacturer updates, supplier allocations, or inventory corrections can move an estimate. When we receive a meaningful update, we’ll pass it along and help you understand your options.
Nothing is necessarily missing. A single order may ship from different warehouses, directly from a manufacturer, or in separate packaging based on size and availability. Each package can have its own tracking number and delivery date, so check all shipment emails before worrying about the rest of the order.
The available services and prices for your exact order appear at checkout. Rates depend on the products, destination, package size, and carrier. Some orders may qualify for free standard ground shipping when the promotion requirements are met, while oversized or excluded products may use different pricing.
It might be, but standard services do not guarantee Saturday or Sunday delivery unless the option is specifically labeled that way. Carriers may deliver on weekends based on the destination and their local network. Plan around the quoted business-day service rather than assuming a weekend arrival.
We know paying for faster service raises expectations. Weather, mechanical problems, network disruptions, and other carrier conditions can still cause delays. Contact us if an eligible expedited service appears to have missed its commitment—we’ll review the shipment and pursue any carrier remedy that may apply.
Usually, yes. Tracking is often sent when the label is created, and the first carrier scan can take 24–48 hours to appear. That gap does not automatically mean the package is lost. If the tracking stays unchanged beyond the normal scan window, reach out and we’ll check it with you.
Yes, when checkout offers a service for the destination and products in your cart. International orders may take longer because of customs, import processing, carrier handoffs, and local conditions. We’ll provide tracking when available, while duties, taxes, and brokerage charges are generally handled by the recipient.
Sometimes, but not every product or carrier can use those addresses. Large parts and manufacturer-direct items are especially likely to need a physical street address. Contact us before ordering and we’ll help confirm the address format and available shipping method.
For deliveries outside the United States, those destination charges are generally the recipient’s responsibility unless we clearly state otherwise. They are set by governments and carriers, not Subimods, and may be collected before delivery. Check your local import rules before ordering so there are no surprises.
Send us the order number and proof of the charge. When a U.S. order ships from an overseas fulfillment location under Delivered Duty Paid terms, Subimods intends to cover applicable import duties and taxes. We’ll review the documentation and work toward the correct resolution under the policy.
A verification hold is there to protect both you and Subimods from unauthorized purchases. The order pauses while our team confirms the payment or account information. Reply promptly to any request we send; once verification is complete, we’ll return the order to processing or explain the available next step.
Contact us before refusing a shipment whenever possible. Once a package is refused or returned as undeliverable, we have to wait for it to come back and be inspected before resolving the order. Return shipping, carrier fees, duties, taxes, or other costs may be deducted from any refund allowed by policy.
Contact us immediately and we’ll check what is still possible. Before shipment, we may be able to correct the address. After a label is created or the carrier has the package, options become limited and an intercept cannot be guaranteed. Fraud-prevention rules may also prevent redirecting a paid order.
First, check around the property, with household members, and with nearby neighbors—the carrier may have used a safe location. If it still cannot be found, contact us immediately. Carrier claims have strict deadlines, and delivered-package claims must reach Subimods within 90 calendar days of the recorded delivery date.
Unless we clearly state that a date is guaranteed, processing and delivery dates are estimates. We provide them in good faith, but weather, customs, carrier disruptions, manufacturer delays, and other events outside our control can change the timing. If something slips, we’ll help you understand the status and realistic next step.
