One of the biggest complaints we’ve heard from 2015-21 WRX owners has to do with cracks forming in their OEM plastic turbo inlets from removal, installation or just general wear and tear. As the plastic inlet ages and becomes brittle, it has a tendency to separate around the BPV and/or turbo flange portion of the piece. Since the inlet is one of the most critical components for metered air and consistent performance, cracks or separation can lead to dangerous conditions for the engine. So much better

This beats oem out of the park it has better material and is much better than that plastic brittle oem one and is easy to put on and off of the car

Grimmspeed did it right with their Cast Aluminum Turbo Inlet! It provides better flow of air to your turbo providing better performance! It also replaces the brittle OEM plastic design that is prone to cracking and breaking which can cause a multitude of problems! Definitely the way to go! Thank you for your 5 Stars!

This turbo inlet is the best on the market! Flawless construction paired with an easy installation make this much needed upgrade that much better. Glad I didn’t wait until the OEM failed to replace it!

Must change on even a full oem car. The stock inlet is garbage and will fail you eventually. Save yourself some heart ache now and put this one on your wrx
