The Company23 Subaru Ball Joint Removal Tool has been designed to allow efficient removal of stubborn ball joints. This tool will save time, and will not harm the suspension knuckle.

This is a 19mm (3/4”) hex on drive screw that can be turned by hand, or by an impact gun. This has been fabricated from CNC machined alloy steel, and can provide the Subaru mechanic with a lifetime of use.

Did not work

This tool is a larger diameter than my lower ball joint stud, on my 2007 Subaru Impreza.

Must have tool

I've seen a review or two claiming that all the balljoint did was spin and this tool is useless. I would advise those having that issue to get a better understanding of how this tool works, as it is physically impossible to fail at its job.

Thread the insert onto the exposed balljoint shaft FIRST. Next, **** the outer cup onto the inner shaft turning counterclockwise (left) until snug to the spindle. Then, using a 19mm socket on a breaker bar, turn the insert in the clockwise direction, and it will yank the balljoint out. Even if it is completely shot and as loose as an 80's rock band groupie, it will still do it's job and pull the balljoint out. My drivers side was completely limp, to the point the car was vibrating and you could just flop it around once it was out. Yanked it in about 4 cranks of a ratcheting breaker bar.

Works great

I was having a really hard time removing a front ball joint but this tool pulled it out super easily! I would recommend even if you're only going to use it once or twice, and then you'll always have it just in case you need it in the future
