The OEM Coolant Overflow Tank for the 2015+ WRX/STI does its job well enough but the cheap plastic material is ugly and will potentially crack over time, especially when driving hard and going through extreme heat cycles. Its shape is also clumsy and obtrusive when adding an aftermarket FMIC.

The upgraded COBB Subaru Coolant Overflow Tank solves these problems without any sacrifices. Constructed of welded aluminum with the same 1L capacity of the OEM tank along with internal and external anodizing. The COBB tank looks much better under the hood while providing a very simple relocated mounting solution that works perfectly fine on a stock car. Its shape is also more conducive to fitting piping from an aftermarket Front Mount Intercooler.

A custom COBB Delrin cap is included which is highly heat resistant and adds to the overall clean look. Plus, the kit comes with a silicone adapter hose and injection molded cap for the washer fluid reservoir, giving a uniform look.

Amazing

This little product is amazingly made. From the welding to the little details it's an amazing product. I would recommend to anyone that is not getting a Front mount intercooler. The only FMIC that fits is Cobbs, any other brand will not fit and need to be back on OEM or relocated again.

This is my issue it's going to be happening soon. I wish I would have known that I had to get cobb and not Grimmspeed, I would have bought cobb, but I was trying to save a quick buck but I also wanted red piping.

Just make sure if you buy this that you keep the oem coolant reservoir or buy another one if you don't go with Cobb FMIC

Great Looking Product!!

The fitment and finish on this piece is awesome. It took me more time take out the old system then put the new system in. Love how simple it is and designed to be out of the way in case I add a FMIC in the future

Cleans up the Engine

Removes some of that wonderful white and yellow plastic that we all love to see in the engine bay. Also that sweet black aluminum housing eliminates any possibility of cracking and failing held by the OEM part.
