IAG Performance 8mm Thick Phenolic Spacers 2002-2014 WRX / 2004-2021 STI / 2005-2012 Legacy GT / 2004-2013 Forester XT

IAG Performance proudly offers 8mm phenolic grade spacers for Subaru 2.0L and 2.5L engines—a simple, cost-effective upgrade designed to maximize the performance of your current setup. The 8mm spacer provides superior thermal insulation and also raises the intake manifold, which can be especially useful when routing custom intercooler piping or rotating the intake manifold.

How it works: The phenolic spacer isolates engine heat from the intake tract, creating a cooler air path. Lower and more stable intake air temperatures (IATs) improve efficiency and allow your engine to make more power without additional modifications.

Each spacer is engineered and CNC-machined from a single piece of phenolic at our Westminster, MD facility, using the factory Subaru head as a reference for precise fitment. Included with your spacer are four custom nitrile gaskets—one for each side of the spacer. Unlike factory gaskets, these gaskets remain intact when removed, eliminating sticky residue cleanup. Longer stainless steel spring pins are also included to aid in aligning the spacer and gaskets, accommodating the thicker 8mm design for a secure, precise installation.

Fitment Notes:

• If you have an older V1 TGV you will require an additional hardware pack that is sold separately.
• Due to clearance issues that can arise with raising the intake manifold, please confirm fitment for your specific application before ordering.
